Me, 2005

Welcome
Like rooms, each section relates to a particular outmoded aesthetic, the tastes of certain periods, the embellishments of certain emotions. Emotional history, visual sublimation, translated. Each translation limited by ignorance of the visual cannon, the infinity of dialectics, or an occasional lack of taste.
Sep 19, 2007: Added a new Software page, currenlty only containing my CS1ToCR2 application for adding GPS data from the Sony GPS-CS1 to Canon CR2 files.
April 24 2007: The Contact Photography Festival is on. Thomas Moran & I will be showing at BOHO Restaurant at 392 Roncesvalles near Howard Park Ave. The show runs from May 1 through May 31.
Feb 21 2007: Elemente Magazine has selected Humber Bridge and Warehouse Pidgeons as 1st and 3rd place winner of their March issue photo contest. This marks the first time I've won a photo contest (and the second time I've ever entered one).
Feb 12 2007: Well, star ratings and commenting is up and running, but I idiotically obliterated my Texts page, which had rather esoteric programming behind it. In case anyone is interested, it'll be a while getting that up and running again.
Feb 5 2007: This is the new lintburger, 2 months in the making. Enjoy.
Feb 5 2007: The Contact 2007 photography show is coming, as usual, in May. I'll be exhibiting with Thomas Moran at Boho Restaurant (best steak I've eaten in Toronto, all plugs aside). More details to follow. I'll be showing these photos.
About Lintburger:
Gallery
These are what I consider the best. I've been taking photos since 1984. A few of these date back to 1987, when I got my own camera for the first time. I've taken a lot
more photos in the last 2 years, when I bought myself a Digital Rebel XT.
PhotoBlog
Here's a daily representation of the Gallery images. I try not to post for the sake of posting. So there will be gaps. If you're a fan, there's an rss feed.
Maps
I am a map junkie, since my first Britannica Atlas. Lately, everything I do seems to involve maps, so I bought the Sony GPS tracker and wrote an app to geocode my pictures. Here's the Gallery, geocoded, where it makes sense.
Texts
A smattering, points of interest perhaps, from when I wrote words that were not associated with emails.
Snapshots
Family, friends, dogs, of interest only to these. Pictured, left, the namesake of my site.
It's still under development. Coming soon: commentary, for those of you who are interested in posting comments. Ratings. Favorites lists. There's still some bits that are hacky, but it all works and renders.
For now, if you need to know anything, .
